This is my dog Neo. He is very hard to photograph because he is so full of energy. I was lucky to catch this one after we had been playing with the ball.

Sunshine For A Rainy Day
It will be several months before we get to see any sunflowers in bloom, so I thought this would be a nice reminder of warm days on this rainy and snowy winters day.

Winter Gray
After a recent snowfall, we then got some rain and warm temperatures. That led to fog which gave me the perfect opportunity to capture this picture while I was out tooling around on one of our snowmobiles.

Old Barn
I live near this old barn and have watched it deteriorate over the years. I have several pictures of it and plan to make a collage someday.

Winter Sunset
It has been the strangest winter here in northern Michigan. We've had barely any snow, and it has been unseasonably warm. In fact it was over 40° here today, and tomorrow it's supposed to be just as warm. While I like the warmer temps, and not having a bunch of snow on the ground, it won't be good for the plant life this summer when we have a drought from the lack of moisture.

Happiness
It's the end of December and I am longing for spring, so instead of sharing something wintry, I decided to think spring. A shot of a daisy from my garden after a spring rain.

Rocks
I started collecting rocks after a trip to the shores of Lake Superior several years ago. I found a Lake Superior agate and have been hooked ever since. While some of these were bought at stores, I have more that I actually found myself. I keep them in a pretty bowl and I love to admire the colors.

Days of Old
I love to take pictures of old places like this. I always wonder, what was the family like that lived there? What kinds of things did they like to do? You can almost close your eyes and imagine a Little House On the Prairie scenario, back when life was so much more simple.
