That's My World - Old Mission Lighthouse

On my birthday, back in October, a few of the women in my family took me out for the day. This was one of the places we went. The Old Mission Lighthouse which is located on Old Mission Point was once used to navigate water traffic in Grand Traverse Bay. The shot on the bottom is a design someone made on the beach directly in front of the lighthouse.

What a beautiful lighthouse. I like the interesting circular pattern of rocks, and the lovely fall foliage, too.

The lighthouse is very unique, looked just like a cozy home. Have a nice week ahead.

It is a better looking lighthouse than mine on the harbour.

I love going out to Old Mission Lighthouse! My in-laws live just outside TC. We were fortunate to be there for Old Mission Days one year so we were able to actually tour the lighthouse. It was fantastic! I remember the circles of stones. How fortunate you are to live in that area. Hope you aren't buried under all that snow!

I have straddled the 45th parallel in Ontario on the Bruce Peninsula which juts into Lake Huron. Lovely area in your picture.
