This morning Michael and I set out with the kids with full intentions on going to Knaebe's Apple Farm in Roger's City, but we missed our turn. I was going to turn back but Michael suggested a drive up to Mackinaw City since it was such a beautiful day. I love going to Mackinaw City and since the height of tourist season is over, it was on to Mackinaw we went. I have always wanted to catch a photo of a freighter going under the Mackinac Bridge, but the timing has always been off. Well, today, as soon as we pulled into the park near the bridge, I finally got my chance. Unfortunately, the quality of the photo is not the greatest, but the timing was almost perfect...

A place I have never been but always want to go. Now more so. Very nice, and the photo captures the color of the water which I love.
A shot to be proud of! I just love when I get a photo of something I've really been hoping for.
