On a cold day in February I decided to walk out onto the pier in Alpena to take some photos of Lake Huron and the harbor area. It sure was cold and I definitely regretted not wearing a hat and gloves, but I did capture some great shots.

That is a great shot. I really like that the colors on the ground echo the colors in the sky. Everything is white and blue. Love it! :-)
When I first glanced at your photo I thought it was a beautiful white sandy beach in some warm exotic place. Sure fooled me! Thanks for sharing. Hope things warm up!
