This cabin is directly across the street from where I live. My daughter and I have walked over and checked it out a few times. Not much left of the old place, but a few old broken things on the inside. It sure peaks the curiosity of days gone by and what the family that lived here was like.

I love the classic look of it, really looks like it was taken way back time. :)
Really is an interesting shot and does stir the curiosity. I always wish things like this could talk! Thanks for sharing!
there's something about old cabins that conjure historical stories for me. I wonder where are its occupants now.
Reminds me of the Lincoln Log Cabin in IL. President Lincoln never lived in it but I know that they get a lot of visitors on that premise. His dad lived in it and Lincoln had visited the cabin. Still these old cabins are intriguing especially when you think about how many people lived in these small buildings. Great photo.
A lovely old log cabin that someone built with love and a lot of hard work, that kept you safe from marauding bears or wolves during the long winter nights, with a little stove to keep you warm and snug. It speaks of great courage and self reliance, of caring and sharing...
Neat old cabin, I bet it has stories to tell. Thanks for sharing your part of the world.

Lovely photo.
That cabin is what remains of somebody's dream. Digging into your county property records could tell an interesting story.
Love old buildings. Nice capture and layout idea.
places like that fascinate me, too. I just wish walls could talk.
